Where next for Environmental Direct Action in the South West

In this session we'll start with a quick look at definitions of Direct Action and its recent history as a tactic in environmental justice work in the South West. Then we'll open the floor to participants and map possible pathways for a new campaign: How do we seek out strategic local targets against extractivism, explore mutual aid responses to extreme weather and experiment with new ways to put spanners in the works? This will be a facilitated space for folks of different stripes to zoom out, share ideas and ponder ways we can collaborate and innovate.
