It takes a village – raising the next generation in times of uncertainty

What do we truly need to raise children together? How can we disrupt the limitations of the nuclear family and reclaim collective approaches to care? What impact does adult supremacy have on how we relate to children and how they experience the world? In this workshop, we will explore what it means to raise children beyond dominant models of parenting and caregiving. We’ll examine our personal relationships to power and control and how these dynamics show up in our interactions and relationships with children. Together, we’ll explore: What does it look like to genuinely show up for the young folk in our lives at a time of such chaos. How do we best support the caregivers and parents who raise them?
