Building Relationships and Security – Not Another Talk About Tech

You know when you’re in a regular chat and have no idea who is behind those nicknames and emojis? When you’re with comrades and realise you know nothing about their lives or what they do? How we enter spaces and relate to each other while practising security culture can create barriers or alienate people. Let’s explore how to build communities of resistance strong enough for the struggles ahead while strengthening security and privacy: when we need to increase security, and when that might work against our aims. This is not a space to discuss Linux, Calyx or Graphene. We want to discuss relationships.
